Tricky Imp has changed dramatically over the years and has been involved with many different projects and subjects but since the covid problem, things have changed.
Tricky Imp is primarily as a small scale publishing company, mainly for the books of author, Peter Gray and are the only publishers of his work. We also publish for other people starting out in the book publishing world based in the Highlands of Scotland.
Find out about forthcoming projects and latest news.
Tricky Imp has finally decided to enter the Audio Book platform but we have not decied if we will use the larger platforms or not. We may simply host from a website. More on that later. The drawback is that production on other projects could be delayed as setting up a studion is a long and expensive process and although we are already testing recordings, it could be a few months before we are in a position to offer these for sale.
Peter has confirmed that after a break to work on other projects, the first of the Black Thistle adventures will go ahead. It is described as an historical adventure with a swashbuckling style. The first book, The Sword of Culloden is still being worked upon but is now thought to be held back until next year due to the audio book project above. 2027.
With appologies for the delay in the eighth book in the Avalon Series, To Catch a Selkie, Peter is still sure that it will on the shelves for Christmas.
